Furnishr
Parsons | Senior Project: Capstone | Spring 17
A group collaboration between me and two other students in my thesis class. We created a marketing campaign for Furnishr, a 12-month-old start-up firm providing furniture curation services for people moving into new apartments in all cities in the US and Canada.
I was mainly responsible for all visual-related elements of the project, which included creating a storyboard for a 30-second commercial, and 3 GIFs that promote Furnishr's services.
I also worked on the proposal of an online sweepstakes, which entails detailed rules and regulations as well as mock-ups of the website.

I proposed a 30-second long online commercial, which illustrates the key points of Furnishr's services, and drew a colored storyboard for our client to better understand what we hope to achieve. An animated version of the commercial is available below.

#2 of 3 GIFs to illustrate the pain points of Furnishr's target audience. The stills from the GIFs can also double as billboard ads. This particular GIF illustrates the struggle of having to assemble furnitures yourself. To emphasize the word play on one of Furnishr's most well-known rivals Ikea, I decided to let Ikea Man, the (in)famous instruction manual guy, to be the star of the GIF. You can view the other 2 gifs in the link available on the left.

I also created an 'Account' tab where participants could track their progress in the contest.
